Do you know the difference between the two? Many people do not. In short, Astronomy is the science based on observation of the stars. Astrology and is seen as fortunetelling.
Linda Goodman as many people to convince people that Astrology is more than fortune telling. Her description of the characters sometimes amazingly accurate. I mentioned in previous articles that will not take the serious astronomer Astrology. But there is one.
Kepler the Analyst. Johannes Kepler was born in 1571 and seemed to have luck against him with a father and a mother reliable which is very unpopular. He was accused of witchcraft, but acquitted after three years. He eventually won a scholarship to the University of Tubingen. He wanted to become a Lutheran pastor but eventually teach mathematics and astronomy. Through what he believes as the luck to make some predictions on the weather and put an almanac. When he predicted that he gets to be a reputation as a necromancer. Later in his life he was still money earned through almanacs.
Kepler was an astronomer or she enjoy the money that came with the reputation? He believed in the theory that Sunday is the center of the Universe. Difficult to say, but he was involved in science and planetary movement with a strong ability to formulate mathematical laws that govern movement of planets. He is also studying the movement, especially on Mars. Although he was also doing this, hold him with numerology and astrology involvement. Kepler finally prove the Copernican theory as an accurate description of the sky and died in 1630.
Although he was involved with Astrology, Numerology and Astronomy, his work paved the way for modern Astronomy. I do not believe that astrology Kepler take seriously and believe in an accurate prediction of weather and not come from the outside to understand nature. Anyone who studied the stars, especially at that time, must have spent many hours outside. He was clearly a keen observer of things around them and to sell almanacs put him in a position to print Rudolphine Table, the work of his.
