The Chinese astrology is based on the lunar calendar. As with other cultures, astrology, a horoscope is created using the positions of stars and planets, for each of the twelve signs of the zodiac by year of birth.
The twelve signs Chinese
Rat
Rats are charming and attractive to the opposite sex. But despite outside appearances, they are worried and, sometimes, as in aggression. Rats are very good with money, and love to jump at the chance. They are also very generous with their friends. They love people and large gatherings and always have others around. They also run in many intimate circles and to be involved in everything they can, sometimes leading them to try to do too much. They are good writers and speakers, and success comes easily to them.
Ox
Oxen are calm on the surface, but have hidden tempers. They are hard workers and are determined at the point of stubbornness. However, what makes them one of the most reliable. They are reliable and easy to assemble at the office. If they do not pay attention, may have little social life. They are not very adept at mind games, and can sometimes be led astray in romance. But once they find someone, they are firm and faithful.
Tiger
Tigers are dynamic and unpredictable. Their wild side leads to the center of attention. They speak their mind and are always looking for the new party or the next big idea. They are also very involved in giving their time and money for causes they are passionate. They are generous and honest. However, they are also rebels. They seek ideals and rebel against a society they perceive as being in the wrong. They are emotional and impulsive, prone to romance and jealousy.
Rabbit
Rabbits are kind and gentle. They love peace and quiet, and prefers a good book to a night on the town. Their sensitivity can lead to moodiness, but normally the rabbits are very peacekeeping. Even if they are silent on the surface, the rabbits are to find the right place. They are soft and people can talk about being on the side of a question without an argument. Although they are cautious, they can also be friendly and inviting once they feel safe.
Dragon
Dragons have fire. They are full of life and want to live life to the fullest. They are perfectionists and are very demanding of both themselves and others. They intimidate those who disagree with them, but they are very loyal to their friends. They can be stubborn, but they will let you know how they feel. They believe themselves to be strong and adorable, and they try to motivate everyone to live up to their standards.
Snake
Snakes are mysterious, often charming the opposite sex. They are graceful and tender to all things large and culturally. They are private tend to look inward for their self-esteem, and are superstitious about everything. They are not penny-pinchers, but always have money in hand. Snakes are jealous when they find a lover, and turn cold almost on a whim.
Horse
Horses are generally friendly. They like to be at the center of attention, and keep others attracted by their wit. However, they have malleable alliances, and have experienced many short romances and friendships. They benefit from the change, and lead a life full of adventure. They do not like to be bound, and love of work and spend time outdoors. They do not stick to a plan, and too often. They may be impatient with other people they see as too slow.
Sheep
Sheep are peaceful people. They sympathize with others' pain, and are easy to speak. They do not rush and break if the pressure. They do not like harsh words, and love to be conducted smoothly. While they are passive, they are also patients and, in general, they eventually get their way. They always remember their friends and families and to give good gifts. Often they are concerned Others believe that, and tend to spend too much.
Monkey
Monkeys are intelligent and intuitive. They are hands on problem solving, and a lot of confidence. They have succeed in difficult tasks, and need not be spoken in a tent. The source of their success is their great memory. They are hard workers, and do not care what others think of them. They have generally not a lot of friends, even if their success does attract people to them.
Rooster
Roosters are romantics. They are perfectionists and dreamers at the same time. Quick to see the details, they always love a challenge, especially if, at first glance, it seems impossible. They are proud to know all the details of a topic that interests them, and are therefore very debaters. However, they will never admit their mistakes. They also tend to intervene and try to solve other problems, whether or not they have been invited to do so. They love always busy, and they have their eyes on.
Dog
The dogs are friendly and always at the front of their feelings. They are very family-oriented and are very loyal to their friends. They are fighting for a cause they consider just. They are not comfortable around extravagant wealth, and prefer a loving home, regardless of social status. Once you friendship of a dog, they will be with you for life. They are monogamous and tend to choose wisely their lovers. They work hard and play hard, and when it is appropriate to make one or the other. They are good providers to those they love.
Pig
Pigs love of social life. They have a lot of friends, and tend to stay out of debates and all sorts of debates. It is not that they do not have an opinion, they love to party and do not want to risk ruining the fun. They are good listeners, but are sometimes gullible and can be easily taken advantage of. This can sometimes affect their relationship. They are solid and reliable, and stick to their friends. They are generous to those around them.
The Five Elements
There is another layer of Chinese astrology that is less well known than the Chinese signs. Chinese astrologers use a cycle of 60 years, consisting of five sets of twelve signs. The five repetitions signs each correspond to a different element, adding more complexity to the animal.
The five elements are Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, Earth.
In Chinese astrology, the elements are part of a cycle, one is not superior or better than the other. In fact, they have a cyclical relationship, both positive and negative, so that:
The water made of wood Wood is the fire Fire is Earth Earth makes Metal Metal makes water
and:
Water fire destroyed Fire destroys Metal Metal destroys Wood Wood destroys Earth Earth destroys Water
In addition, they can be openly aggressive and hostile:
Water resistant to fire Fire resistant Metal Metal Wood resists The wood is resistant to Earth Resistant to water the earth
